Play Entertainment Crossword Puzzles

There are a huge number of different themes for crossword puzzles, in fact limited really only by one's imagination and creativity in coming up with new themes!

However there are some themes that are much more popular than others, and two of the most popular are sports (see our page on those in the left-hand menu) and of course also entertainment themed puzzles. Whether these are limited just to films and TV or spread more generally to arts, books and literature, the entertainment themed puzzle is an enjoyable one to tackle.

They are commonly seen in things like TV magazines or celebrity gossip magazines where a good knowledge of soap opera characters and TV show personalities is a must, but they can be a lot more broader and require more general knowledge than that, depending on the puzzle and of course what the target audience of the publication is.

If you have a good knowledge of entertainment, then you will probably find that the puzzles are effortless to solve. The one frustration that comes with these puzzles is that if you don't watch a particular TV show, then you can find it pretty much impossible to complete a puzzle, so it is quite common for people to solve all but one or two clues with an entertainment themed puzzles, leaving blank the ones that refer to TV shows that the solver does not watch. There is no real way around this unfortunately, which puts some people off this sort of puzzle, or at least mildly frustrates them, but for many there is nothing that beats cracking a good entertainment crossword with a cup of tea and a biscuit or two to hand!
